Kouboo.com launches online specialty store

South Laguna, Calif. - Kouboo.com debuted earlier this month as an online home decorating store launched by husband-and-wife team Patrice and Joey Gerber.

"Kouboo.com is ideally suited for those seeking a one-of-a-kind, artist-made home décor piece that gives an exotic touch without overwhelming the room or space," said Patrice Gerber, president.

The company positions itself as "an accessible, but thoughtful and well-traveled resource where one can find home and living elements that benefit from mixing and blending styles that also achieve balance, and support native materials and traditions," he said.

Patrice moved to the United States in the 1990s from his native Switzerland and spent several years working in the housewares industry. Joey, a Philippine national, travelled widely, picking up décor pieces from Asia to work into U.S. interiors.

The business is also committed to building global relationships. The company has established an ongoing donation to www.kiva.org, an organization supporting and funding the creation of small and micro-businesses in Third World and emerging economies.
