Shoppers pick JCP, Kohl's among top 10 retailers for customer service
Washington- Shoppers have selected the top 10 retailers in customer service practices for the National Retail Federation's latest NRF Foundation/American Express Customers' Choice survey.
This marks the seventh consecutive year that both entities join forces to conduct the survey. Consumer research firm Bigresearch surveyed 9,374 shoppers from September 6 to 14 to gauge their attitudes toward retailers' customer service.
The mission of this annual survey is to provide tools and training for retailers to serve customer needs, promote best practices in customer service, and recognize retailers who are already providing excellent customer service.
In alphabetical order, the finalists for this year are:
- Amazon.com
- JCPenney
- Kohl's Department Stores
- Lands' End
- L.L.Bean
- Newegg
- Nordstrom
- Overstock.com
- QVC
- Zappos
The official ranking of each retailer in this list is set to be revealed on Jan. 17 at NRF's Annual Retail Industry Luncheon, during NRF's 101st Annual Convention and EXPO. Also to be released that day is the survey's complete list of 46 retailers that shoppers selected as having the best customer service.
