Traditions Linens creates rustic retreat for city dwellers

New collections to launch at NY Now

Traditions Linens creates rustic retreat for city dwellersClaverack, N.Y – Tradition Linens is keeping one foot in the country, but the other is stepping into the city for the fall/winter season.

The luxury linens company is coming to NY Now with several new ensembles the center on “refined rustic” looks, owner and creative director Shari Kline told POSH.

“The idea here is an upgraded rustic look for an urban client,” she explained. “I am looking to find a balance of the idea of linens that look really great, wear exceptionally well, and come together to create a perfect retreat like space for sleep, which is our time to recharge and should be relaxing, comforting and special.”

She continued: “Each piece must be of the highest quality – but it also must be able to be lived in, meaning that it has to wash well and be able to effortlessly fit into your lifestyle.”

The Tupper Linen collection, which Kline describes as “a winning formula,” pairs with the Renata sheeting, duvet and shams for European styling on Italian sheeting weight fabrics to add comfort and softness.

The company’s introduction piece is the Alexa coverlet, an addition to Traditions Linens’ stone-washed linen line of coverlets. Except, Kline noted, Alexa is backed with the company’s kashmina blanket, “so that it becomes two pieces in one.

“This is a really special introduction for us and we’re excited with how well it was received in the Southeast market,” she said. “It’s in our warehouse right now for immediately delivery.”

Also new for market: the Shangri-La bedding ensemble, a master bedroom collection that pairs the Laura duvet, shams and sheeting with neutral pieces that provide texture and depth; and Vittoria, a blue and ivory printed ensemble that comprises the Darby sheeting and shams on Slate Blue Italian sateen with an Ivory band detail and the Ivory Blair coverlet, designed for use year-round.

Traditions Linens will be located in Booth 1628 at NY Now Aug. 20-23 at the Jacob K. Javits Center.
