Beaulieu Canada opens two new showrooms

Acton Vale, Quebec - Beaulieu Canada this month celebrated the opening of two new showrooms - one in the heart of Old Montreal and the other at SOFA: Source of Furniture + Accessories at The International Centre in the Mississauga suburb of Toronto.

The SOFA showroom exhibits a full selection of scatter rugs and room size rugs from the manufacturer's newly formed area rug division. Offering as many as 300 new skus in more than 2,000 square feet of showroom space, this new space "will prove to be an important resource for dealers, designers and decorators," the company said.

Paul Jesson, vice president, heads Beaulieu Canada's area rug division, which operates tufting and state-of-the-art printing capability in Canada. The company's rug lines are oriented to the value and mid-level price points and feature a diverse range of designs from classic to contemporary.

The new showroom space in Old Montreal was created to provide architects, designers and other trade professionals the opportunity to view Beaulieu's full line of commercial soft flooring in one site.

Anyk Desfossés, marketing manager for Beaulieu Canada's contract division, said the objective behind the showroom was to "provide a permanent locale in a convenient central location where they can go to see our products."

She added that the space will also accommodate private functions, facilitate the launch of new products and showcase the company's complementary hard surface options.
