Larry Brill launches export advisory service

HTT Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 10/20/2011 12:19:00 PM

Columbia, MD - Larry Brill, who recently retired from Department of Commerce's textiles and apparel office, has established Export Trade Consultants, a company based here to aid U.S. suppliers interested in creating or expanding business in Europe, Asia and around the world.
Brill said many American companies have made a classic mistake of not giving the export market enough time.
"You just need patience and commitment. If you don't have that, you won't make it. And once you leave, it's even harder to try and come back. I think you need a minimum of three years," he told HTT during an exclusive interview.
Export Trade Consultants will soon launch a web site, and Brill can be reached at brilllaw@aol.com.
[Editor's note: For a full profile on Brill, see HTT's Oct. 24 print issue.]
