Nourison opens new showroom at 295 Fifth Avenue in NYC

Saddle Brook, N.J. - Family-owned and operated area rug house Nourison is opening a new permanent showroom in New York City in September, in time for the upcoming Metro and Home Fashions market.

The new space is located on the first floor at 295 Fifth Avenue and spans more than 10,000 square feet.

"Nourison has invested heavily in 2010 and 2011 to expand our product lines in categories that match today's consumer demand," said Alex Peykar, principal, Nourison. "We think this will vitalize our brand and give our retailers the edge they need with customers."

Noursion said this showroom, which features "striking window displays," is its latest milestone, and will feature the company's full range of products, from upscale area rugs to novelty scatter rugs to broadloom and home decorative accessories.

The showroom is for conducting wholesale business only and is not open to the public. Nourison also operates permanent showrooms in Atlanta, Las Vegas, High Point and Zurich as well as at the company's headquarters here.
