Williamsburg, Avanti Linens partner for licensed collections for bath, kitchen and table

Home Textiles Today Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 7/27/2011 3:14:35 PM

Williamsburg, Va. -- Williamsburg and Avanti Linens have joined forces to co-create and market several new collections of bath, kitchen and table linens coordinates set to launch this fall.

Avanti will present the new program during the New York Home Fashions Market which is set to run Sept. 19 to 23.

The collections will build upon Williamsburg's signature combination of traditional floral prints with complementary graphic patterns. Products within the collections will include bath towels, shower curtains, and bath accessories as well as kitchen and table linens.

More specifically, the design portfolio for the collection will include the "Tulipomania" and "Charlotte" prints, inspired by these popular Williamsburg's fabrics based on botanical motifs. Other prints, such as "Parterre" and "Sheraton Ikat" will offer eye-popping graphic designs, while "Isham Indienne" will add a hint of global chic from the 18th Century era of exploration and booming world trade.

Jim Easton, vice president of products for the Williamsburg brand, said Avanti Linens "is well established as a leader in their field and brings an exciting new dimension to our Williamsburg Home Furnishings program."

Added Jeff Kaufman, Avanti's president and coo: "In addition to its strong brand recognition and long history in the marketplace, its extensive design library that dates back three centuries offers Avanti the opportunity to cover many looks in the different product categories. We look forward to a very long and successful partnership with the Williamsburg brand."
