Li & Fung announces five acquisitions

Hong Kong - Multi-national trading house Li & Fung limited has signed three acquisitions for its trading network and two for its distribution network that will add revenues of $660 million and $80 million, respectively.
Acquisitions for the trading group include: Exim Designs, a Thai-based furniture trading company; Collection 2000, which specializes in cosmetics for the UK; and Loyaltex Apparel, which sources and develops knits, woven/denim and sweaters.
Li & Fung's distribution group will be incorporating Hampshire Designers, the women's division of U.S.-based Hampshire Group Limited; and TVMania, a European supplier of character licensed and branded merchandise.
Executive deputy chairman William Fung said the company is pursuing additional acquisitions.
