HTT Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 6/14/2011 12:01:19 PM

Shanghai - The Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles trade fair later this summer will increase to 11 halls at the Shanghai New Interantional Expo Centre, with new pavilions from Greece, Italy and Spain joining international pavilions from Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan and Turkey.

The fair, which takes place from Aug. 29-31, will group manufacturers from China's major home textile production into six regional pavilions at the fair's domestic halls. The regions include Pujiang and Jiande, which are hubs for bedding; Haining and Shaoxing, which are known for decorative fabrics; and well as Tongxiang and Yuhang, which are producers of both.

In addition, high-end bedding suppliers and brands will appear at the fair. Ibena (Germany) will promote its new product line jointly with Cotton Council International, according to fair organizer Messe Frankfurt. Standard Fiber (United States) will introduce an English brand as well as a new brand, Somerelle, specifically for the Chinese market. Springs Global (US/Brazil) will represent show its luxury Court of Versailles brand. Those companies will be showcased alongside other brands in hall W2.
