Dollar General Heads for California

Having planted its flag in Arizona and Colorado over the past few years, Dollar General plans to open its first California stores next year. The company is entering three new states this year: Connecticut, Nevada and New Hampshire. California will be its 39th state. Dollar General operates more than 9,500 stores.
