NRF taps Freeman as svp

Washington, D.C. - The National Retail Federation has named Tita Freeman senior vice president for communications and public affairs.
Freeman comes to NRF from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she served as vice president, communications and strategy, leading communications, including strategy, media, advertising, marketing, and online, for major initiatives on jobs and the economy, trade expansion, health care reform, and advancing free enterprise.
NRF's board last year approved a new strategic plan for policy advocacy, communications and grassroots engagement.
