Boca Raton, Fla. - Hollander Home Fashions's Dennis McDaniels, vp of sales, will retire effective May 31.
He has spent the past 15 years at Hollander and currently manages a variety of accounts predominantly based in the southeast. A home textiles industry veteran, he began his career with Denver Dry Goods then moved on to Springs, Pillowtex and Dawson before joining Hollander.
"Dennis' contribution to Hollander over the past 15 years has been immeasurable." said Chris Baker, Hollander ceo. "Dennis has an extensive knowledge of the basic bedding business and is able to zealously represent his customers while balancing the needs of our company. We will certainly miss his passion and the leadership he provided to our entire sales force."
Said McDaniels: "My greatest joy of working in our business is the fine jewels and gems I have sat next to, sold with or to. These people made the path straighter, less rocky and more level."
The company is currently searching for his successor.
