New York - The industry group Executives Working in Home Textiles (EWHT) announced a donation of $1,000 in memory of Carole Sloan, longtime editor and writer for Home Textiles Today and Furniture Today, to FIT's Educational Foundation of the Fashion Industries' "Carole Sloan Scholarship Fund".
Linda Kulla noted, "EWHT members want Carole's dedication, vitality, wisdom and spirit to work for the future. We challenge others in the home industry to add to the fund so the Scholarship of $2,500 can be awarded this spring to a Carole Sloan Scholar from the junior class in the Home Products Development major at FIT."
Additional contributions to the fund, which are tax deductible, can be made to the "EFFI The Carole Sloan Current Use Fund " at FIT, 227 W 27th St. Room C204, New York, NY 10001. For additional information, contact Terry Culver, director of development at (212)217-4109.
We would love your feedback!
