828 International Trading Co. returning to High Point Market

Greenville, S.C. - After a brief absence, 828 International Trading company is making a new home for itself again at the High Point Market.

Its new permanent space is in Show Place in space 1310.

Among the rugs on display for the upcoming market will be new additions to the 100% polyester hand-hooked in China Sienna line of striking florals on two-toned backgrounds that imitate a space-dyed look. Also new for market will be new florals transitional styles within the otherwise traditional Ellington collection. These hand-carved rugs are made in India in a 60-count wool and silk yarn hand-tufted and acid-washed construction.

President John Shepherd said 828 is making a High Point comeback as part of the company's new focus on serving furniture retailers, which he described as "a significant channel of distribution" for moving sales forward.

"With High Point Market being the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, it makes good strategic sense to realign ourselves with this market," he added.
