At the New York Market - After a more than two-year hiatus, Arlee Home Fashions is returning to the table linens category beyond tapestries with several new fabric offerings in the works.
Lance Orlick, vp, told HTT the company is actively expanding again into decorative and embellished fabric runners this market with about a dozen new looks, and already has more related table linen products lining up for next market.
The new runners are all freestanding.
In related news, the company is also continuing to build its newest and rapidly growing category, tapestries, with new seasonal styles in table linens as well as a new category, throws, in addition to a stronger presentation of everyday looks.
"The idea is to make tapestry more upscale by adding more design to it and making it more contemporary," Orlick explained.
Beyond its 25 holiday and harvest looks for this market, new year-round tapestry designs include butterflies, sunbursts, oversized florals and contemporary themes - all made on Arlee's jacquard looms overseas. "We are totally vertical in this category," he added.
The company's first line of free-standing tapestry runners are being developed and set to launch next market with the new table linens lines.
We would love your feedback!
