BELLE HARBOR, N. Y. - Services were held for Steve Tabasco, 82, who died in September.
Tabasco, a long-time mill executive, was one of the pioneers in the licensing of sports and cartoon characters in the home textiles industry. He was one of the Bibb Co.'s leaders in the licensing world, bringing Star Wars and Strawberry Shortcake to the market.
He is survived by his wife Lois, two daughters and a son.
