New Macy's DC to Support Online Biz

Macy's Inc. will build a new distribution center about 80 miles northwest of Washington, D.C., to services its growing online business.
The 1.3 million-square-foot fulfillment center, located in Berkeley County, W.Va., is scheduled to begin shipping in summer 2012.
In the first 10 months of 2010, the company's online sales were up 29% - on top of 20% growth in 2009.
