Acton Vale, Quebec - Longtime soft and hard flooring source Beaulieu Canada has donated $25,000 to The CURE Foundation in support of breast cancer research.
The company presented the check to JoAnne La Pointe Braun, director, CURE Foundation, earlier this month, marking one year since Beaulieu Canada first embarked on its partnership with the foundation.
Beaulieu Canada's donation stemmed from sales of the company's new laminate flooring product line, called Esperanza, which is Spanish for hope. "Created with Beaulieu Canada's mandate of environmental responsibility and support of women's health issues in mind," the company said, Esperanza laminate flooring was launched last year. It was manufactured with a pink underlay so customers would know that a percentage of sales from their purchase of the product would contribute to the CURE Foundation and breast cancer research.
During last year's Tour for the Cure, Beaulieu Canada brought displays of its new product line, including the Esperanza products, to its retailer. The Tour for the Cure was a month-long, 18-city, cross-Canada tour to raise awareness of Beaulieu Canada's new products and its partnership with the CURE Foundation.
We would love your feedback!
