Bon-Ton Extends Bergren's Term, Promotes Schrantz

YORK, PA. - The Bon-Ton Stores Inc.'s board has extended Bud Bergren's current posts as president and ceo through Feb. 5, 2012.
In addition, Bon-Ton also promoted Barbara Schrantz to coo, effective Jan. 30. She is currently evp, sales promotion and marketing, a position she has held since March 2009.
In addition to her current responsibilities, Schrantz will also oversee stores, visual, logistics and distribution, loss prevention, construction, human resources, corporate procurement and operations, and information systems - all of which will report to her.
