Bon-Ton Investing in E-commerce

To support its rapidly growing online business, regional department store chain The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. has tapped dynaTrace Software Inc. for use of its application performance management to improve the performance the retailer's recently implemented IBM e-commerce platform.
     During the company's third quarter conference call in mid-November, Bon-Ton president and ceo Bud Bergen noted that online sales are up more than 75% year-to-date for www.bonton.com.
