Atlanta - High-end eco textiles designer brand Marcel Miller is expanding the breadth of its Dreme collection with several new designs set to debut at the upcoming winter markets here and in New York.
The new items include throws and pillows made of 100% Peruvian alpaca, available in a range of natural colors. The new designs, inspired by an elegantly furnished estate, are interpreted on tailored pillows and hand-finished throws made from high-quality wool and knitted baby alpaca. Each individual piece is crafted by hand by master Peruvian artisans.
Marcel Miller noted the new batch of pillows and throws mark "a long overdue refresh of the Dreme collection," which was the company's first-ever collection.
The new products are available for shipment this spring.
"The overwhelming success of PUR, our handmade eco-cotton line, has really overshadowed Dreme as we focused our energy and resources to meet very strong demand. However, customers kept requesting our sumptuously soft alpaca accessories, even though the designs had become a bit dated. So we decided the time had come to add new styles and colors and refresh the collection" said company founder Arthur Titus.
Marcel Miller's new Dreme offerings will be shown at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market at the AmericasMart Jan. 12 to 19 and the New York International Gift Fair at the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center Jan. 29 to Feb. 3.
