Calvin Klein Home, Nourison to launch largest-ever batch of new collections in Janaury

HTT Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/5/2011 2:51:17 PM

New York - Calvin Klein Home and its longtime exclusive area rug licensee, Nourison, have created seven new branded collections set to be introduced in Janaury at the various winter markets.

This year's program marks a milestone for the brand's rug line, Noursion noted.

"2011 will mark our single largest addition of Calvin Klein Home area rugs, in a wide variety of styles, designs, and constructions," said Alex Peykar, president of Saddle Brook, NJ-based Nourison. "The Calvin Klein brand continues to present some of our most innovative, high quality products which are sought after by designers and our savvy, discerning consumers."

The new offerings comprise 17 new rug styles, available in multiple colors. They are set to officially launch during the Atlanta International Area Rug Market, which is scheduled January 13 to 16.

Among the new introductions, the Canyon collection offers innovative craftsmanship in a cut-pile viscose merged with a flat suede leather area. The Shetland collection boasts the look of a sisal rug but in a wool construction. Naturals is a collection comprised of all natural, un-dyed wool pieces. The artistically-driven Metropolitan collection represents a statement in color, and Sequoia is a collection that tells modern story about texture.

These collections will be available at retail beginning late Spring 2011 and also at fine rug retailers nationwide.

Calvin Klein Home, established in 1995, currently designs and markets licensed products around the world spanning furniture, bed and bath, tabletop and gifts, table linens, rugs, and down.
