JCP preps for "biggest ever" post-Christmas sale with major push for home
Plano, Texas -- Hoping to keep up the momentum of the holiday shopping season past Christmas Day, JCPenney plans to open its store doors early - at 7 a.m. - on Dec. 26 for what it described as its "biggest After Christmas Sale ever," and is positioning its home business as a major part of it.
Aside from extended store hours, JCP will also be giving its customers free shipping offers on jcp.com and more than 100 "doorbuster" specials from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., highlighted in the retailer's expanded 48-page sales circular.
After- Christmas Day shopping at JCP "continues to be a growing event each year," the department store said. Turning the spotlight on home, JCP's after-Christmas sale will include one of the retailer's largest home events by featuring an after Christmas White Sale on a variety of items, such as: microplush throws for $9.99, microplush or microfleece blankets for $19.99, full or queen 300 thread count Linden Street-branded Egyptian cotton sheet sets for $39.99, heated Sealy mattress pads at 50% off, bedding sets for $59.99 (regularly priced at $100 to $160), Linden Street "Quick Dri" towel for $5.99 reduces dry time by up to 33%, JCP home "Pure Perfection" bath towel for $6.99, Supima cotton towels by American Living for $9.99, and Cindy Crawford Style bath rugs for $19.99, 50% or more off entire stock of sheer curtain and drapery panels, 70% of and free shipping on all made-to-measure blinds, shades and draperies, and much more.
