JCP, Kohl's among the tops in customer service

Washington  - The results are in for the sixth annual NRF Foundation/American Express Customers' Choice survey, which lists the top 10 retailers for customer service.

The survey, which marks its sixth anniversary this year, asked 9,291 shoppers which retailer provides the best customer service. It was conducted from August 31 to September 8 by consumer research firm BigResearch.

Listed alphabetically, the retailers are:

  • Amazon.com
  • JCPenne
  • Kohl's Department Stores
  • Lands' End
  • L.L.Bean
  • Newegg
  • Nordstrom
  • Overstock.com
  • QVC
  • Zappos


Each retailer's official ranking is set to be released at NRF's Annual Retail Industry Luncheon on Jan. 11, 2011, during NRF's 100th Annual Convention and EXPO.

The complete list of 46 retailers that shoppers selected as having the best customer service will also be released at that time.
