Heimtextil announces 2011 seminar schedule

Frankfurt, Germany - Heimtextil organizer Messe Frankfurt will host a series of seminars during the 2011 trade fair, which takes place Jan. 12-15.
The "Let's talk about it" series will take place in Hall 8.0 between 11 .m. and 4 p.m.
The Jan. 12 program will be "Home-textile fashion trends - how fashion influences interiors." Ornella Bignami, fashion director of Elementi Moda, will discuss cross-over trends between fashion, furniture and home textiles, leading a panel discussion featuring experts in each field.
Textiles and sustainability will be the subject of the Jan. 13 session, which will be led by Katharina Schaus, general manager of Organic Textile Services. In addtion, speakers from Tchibo and Ikea will talk about their companies' business and quality control strategies.
The final lecture on Jan 14 will cover the contract business for textiles. Rainer Gebhardt, head of the Textile Technology Transfer Centre of the Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut, will moderate a panel discussion examining current needs in the B2B segment and the opportunities for growth in the textile sector.
