Sleep Innovations expanding U.S. capacity

Company also moving into new market niches

West Long Branch, N.J. - Sleep Innovations plans to expand its polyurethane foam manufacturing plant in Baldwyn, Miss.

The center will focus on the development of new products, including mattress toppers, mattresses and pillows that employ the company's proprietary memory foam technology. The project will result in the creation of approximately 40 new jobs and generate an additional $30 million of annual revenue into the Tupelo / Lee County area and Baldwyn Community.

"We are proud to be partnered with an exceptional community that affords Sleep Innovations the opportunity to further invest in our innovative Made in the USA products and technology," said Sleep Innovations president and ceo Michael Thompson.

The company has been expanding its product categories, coming into the recent market, including a new gel memory phone and a line of dorm room solutions products such as the Zzzod, a memory foam update on the bean bag chair, as well as product lines addresses senior citizens, travelers and expectant and new mothers.

"We have developed a new philosophy that revolves around the customer -everything we develop addresses specific needs and pain points," said Thompson. "We've been listening to what people tell us they need and creating solutions for them."
