Fibra USA opens NY showroom

At the New York Market - Bath and beach towel and sheeting company Fibra USA, which opened its doors in the U.S. three years ago and is a division of Europe-based Fibraco S.A., opened a new showroom here to participate in its first-even New York Home Fashions market.
Located at 230 Fifth Avenue in suite 1604, Fibra USA displayed its broad offering of decorative bath towels and beach towels and its higher-end sheeting program that encompasses 400- to 1,000-count offerings.
The company also announced this week its alliance with two major factories in India. The towel company is Sara Textiles Ltd. and the sheeting partner is Birla Century.
Together, they are creating and looking to export directly to upscale U.S. retailers, including specialty and department stores, under a newly created private label, "Cotton & Beauty."
