Soft-Tex Marks 25 Years with Expanded Showroom

CertaPURE US labeling augments SensorPEDIC brand

Waterford, N.Y. -- Specialty bedding manufacturer Soft-Tex will welcome retailers and other home textiles industry colleagues to a twice-as-big, twice-as-nice showroom this market.
"I am thrilled we were able to accomplish this expansion in time for the fall 2010 New York Home Fashions Market," said Soft-Tex president Arthur Perry. "Particularly as we mark our 25th year as a company, this growth comes at a very exciting time for our entire organization."
The expanded showroom, Suite 1204 at 230 Fifth Avenue, provides ample new display space to house the company's growing Memory Foam business. "Our proprietary SensorPEDIC brand has been so successful in the Memory Foam topper, pillow and basic mattress category, that we have enhanced the assortment with the addition of the CertaPURE US certification," said Robert O'Connell, evp of sales and marketing for Soft-Tex. "This certification gives the consumer confidence that all of our new memory foam products meet high comfort and durability standards, but equally ensures environmentally friendly manufacturing processes."
O'Connell added that the new, trademarked Ventilated and Odorless Sensor-Foam "offers improved breathability in all of our products for maximum comfort, and we've made them odor free for superior consumer satisfaction."
A broad and deep presentation of the company's Nature's Rest line is also in evidence. The collection features "Eco-Friendly Fiber," as well as natural fill and latex offerings in pillows, mattress pads and toppers. The Nature's Rest line combines a value offering with green consumerism.
Perry commented, "In addition to the expanded showroom display area, we have added a buyers lounge and work area, where our sales team can spend quality time with buyers planning assortments and developing businesses."
