Capel taps Arthur for new post - senior designer
Will execute style, color, design directions

Troy, N.C. -- Capel Rugs has appointed Lorie Arthur to the newly created post of senior designer.
Arthur brings more than two decades of career experience in textile design, product development, merchandising and sourcing to Capel. Most recently, she served as director of product development and design for Artisan Design Group and Springs Industries. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design.
In her new stint, Arthur will execute style, color and design directions based on Capel's merchandising initiatives for all import and domestic product.
She reports to Tami Watras, director of merchandising.
"Lorie is incredibly talented and has a great eye for what works," Watras said. "Her energy, passion and enthusiasm are exactly what we wanted to help propel us forward."
