Allergy Standards taps Breshgold for new USA sales manager post

New York - Physician-led global certification company Allergy Standards Limited has appointed Michael Breshgold to the newly created USA sales manager post.

Reporting to co-founder and ceo Dr. John McKeon of the Dublin, Ireland-based company, Breshgold is based here. He joined the company in June.

"Due to the increasing demand by retailers and manufacturers for the program we are investing in key strategic hires and a new office in New York," said McKeon.

Breshgold brings more than 25 years of career experience to Allergy Standards, having worked in U.S. sales and business development in the retail, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. He most recently served as director of development-physician services at US Oncology.

In his new post, Breshgold is charged with enrolling manufacturers to participate in and for the strategic development of all United States certification programs for the company.

Breshhold added: "Energy efficiency initiatives are making indoor air quality a real hot topic again and along with product stewardship and in-use lifecycle analysis the program is in the consumer awareness sweet spot."
