Surya taps Tyus as new director of marketing

Calhoun, Ga. - Area and accent rug and home accessories house Surya Inc. has hired Stephanie Tyus as its new director of marketing.
She comes to Surya from Hewlett-Packard, where she was senior account manager.
In her new post, she is responsible for building the Surya brand through the initiation of a comprehensive and cohesive new marketing plan.
She reports to Seth King, vp, sales.
"With almost two decades of experience working within the textile industry, Stephanie has the expertise to launch a large scale marketing campaign that will not only increase Surya's exposure but also our brand power," said Satya Tiwari, president. "We are excited about the future of our company and we look forward to exceeding our projections."
