Hollander, Homedics ink licensing partnership for basic bedding line

Boca Raton, Fla. - Utility bedding manufacturer Hollander Home Fashions has partnered with personal care products company Homedics for a new and exclusive line of basic bedding products.

Set to launch in September during the New York Home Fashions Market, the Homedics basic bedding collection will focus in on sleep solution products and categories to be produced will include comforters, mattress pads, toppers and pillows. The goods will come in "new, innovative packaging," Hollander noted.

"Homedics is about personal care products, which we believe ties right into our sleep solution philosophy at Hollander," said Beth Mack, Hollander's chief merchandising officer. "We will offer better fabrications with solution treatments in both synthetic and natural fills. All of our Homedics bedding will offer superior comfort with added technology and treatments that provide the personal care and comfort that Homedics product is known for."

Added Tim Landers, vp, merchandising: "The new collection will feature similar technology to our ‘Flexotech' mattress pads. By incorporating the 3-D mesh technology, we will offer the consumer true comfort with ease of care, in addition, to added treatments such as our ‘R-Tech' repel and release technology."
