New chairman and ceo named at Robert Allen

New York - Jeff Cordover has been named chairman and ceo of The Robert Allen Group, succeeding his father Ron Cordover.
In addition, Greg Tarver has been promoted to president and chief operating officer, succeeding Jeff Cordover. Tarver has been executive vp, operations and general manager of commercial businesses. He continues to report to Jeff Cordover.
Ron Cordover will become chairman emeritus, a non-executive position, and will continue as a member of the board of directors.
Glenn Gold, executive vp, marketing and general manager of residential businesses will retain his current responsibilities overseeing residential product development, sales and new business initiatives.
Jeff Cordover has served as president of The Robert Allen Group since 2002 when Décor Holdings acquired the company from LifeStyle Furnishings Intl.
Tarver, a veteran of the home fashions industry, joined the company 2003 from WestPoint Stevens where he had been svp, bath. In 2006 he was named executive vp, manufacturing and operations. He added responsibilities as general manager commercial businesses in 2008.
Said Jeff Cordover, "this realignment of our senior management team will allow us to focus more fully on strategic issues for the company."
