Rue La La appoints Hall chief marketing officer

Boston - Private sale online retailer Rue La La has appointed Robert Hall as its chief marketing officer.Most recently, he worked at the Boston Beer Company as vp of brand development since 2000. Prior to that, Hall worked at the Kellogg Company from September 1995 to July 2000. He served in various capacities over that time, including vp of marketing for U.S. natural and functional foods, vp of North America cereal innovation, and director of marketing for US cereal new products.
Hall, whose new post became effective May 11, is responsible for the company's long-term brand, marketing and customer communications strategy, including new membership acquisition, retention and engagement, membership feedback and brand partner positioning.
He reports to Ben Fischman, ceo.
"He will be instrumental in ensuring that we continually enhance our brand positioning and customer experience for the benefit of our partners and membership," Fischman said. "He knows the central role that innovation plays in establishing and sustaining consumer relationships. He will be an incredible asset as we continue to build the Rue La La brand."
