Oriental Weavers names Battles regional vp – West

Dalton, Ga. -- Sphinx by Oriental Weavers has hired Monica Battles as the area rug company’s regional vice president – West, based out of Seattle.

She is responsible for managing sales in the 11-state region, which spans from Arizona to Montana, including all states on the West coast as well as Alaska and Hawaii.

Battle brings to Sphinx more than 15 years of retail and industry experience. Most recently, she worked at Nourison, where she was account manager for five states in the Northwest as well as British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. Prior to that, Battles was a regional sales manager for MLC Flooring, and moved up the ranks at Carpet Exchange from sales associate to regional manager.
