Design bloggers tour slated for High Point Market

Bloggers will give insider views of showrooms during fall market

High Point, N.C. – The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) announced that it has partnered with Esteem Media to develop a Design Bloggers Tour for the fall market, Oct. 17-22.

The High Point Market Design Bloggers Tour will bring a group of 10 design bloggers to High Point Market for a three-day tour of sponsoring showrooms. Also included are a variety of activities, including educational sessions and a VIP networking event. Participating bloggers will visit each sponsor for an up-close look at the exhibitors’ company, showroom and products during a 30-minute presentation and tour.

The tour will kick off at the market’s opening event at 9 a.m. in the High Point Theatre. Presented by the High Point Market Authority and Esteem Media, the event will be a panel discussion about “Design and Sense of Place: How do geography and aesthetic relate?” Magazine editors Elizabeth Ralls (Atlanta Home & Lifestyles) and Kyle Hoepner (New England Home) will moderate the panel.

Esteem Media, founded by Adam Japko, produces the Design Bloggers Conference (www.design-bloggers-conference.com) each year.

“We are very excited to partner with High Point Market on this unique project; a natural extension of our Design Bloggers Conference project, designed to promote quality online design content and community building,” said Japko. “It will be great exposure for the bloggers we recruit and hand-pick to touch and see the up-and-coming trends, and a great opportunity for participating exhibitors to promote their products.”
