FIT to honor Mohawk and BJ's leaders

New York — Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) will honor Mohawk Home president Bill Kilbride and BJ's Wholesale Club executive vp Laura Sen during its annual Scholarship Awards Breakfast on April 1.
The event, which also raises money for the college's Home Products Development program, will take place from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. at the Waldorf-Astoria here.
Kilbride will receive the Outstanding Achievement Award, as will David Sabin, chairman, Salton Inc. Sen will accept the Retailer of the Year Award. ICD publishing company president and ceo Ian Gittlitz and senior vp Cynthia Evans will each receive the Humanitarian Award.
The breakfast chair for the event is Leonard Florence, Syratech Corporation. Co-chairs are Carl Goldstein, S. Lichtenberg and Co.; Lester Gribetz, Bloomingdale's; and Peter Scotese, chairman emeritus of FIT's board of trustees.
