Waite elevated at Springs, others depart

Fort Mill,S.C.– Carmen Waite has been named vp, top-of-bed merchandising for Springs Global. She succeeds Bruce Wolno, who left the company to pursue another opportunity.

Waite, with Springs since 1990, most recently has been a key merchant in the company’s top-of-bed business. Earlier she coordinated product development and program execution at Coteminas, and has held positions in industrial engineering, product development and merchandising. She now reports to John de la Roche, senior vp, bedding merchandising.

In other personnel changes, Rich Langone -- who was named vp, creative development in February -- has resigned to pursue an outside opportunity.

Amy Newman, a stylist in the merchandising group, has also resigned to pursue an outside opportunity.

No successors have been named for Langone or Newman.
