Charlotte, N.C. —
Resin and fiber-based materials producer Polymer Group (PGI) will increase prices due to continued increases in raw material costs, the company said.
"In certain cases, input prices have increased more than 30% in recent months," the company said, noting that polyester, polypropylene, pulp and rayon have seen some of the fastest price increases.
PGI said its price hikes "will be in excess of 10%" in most cases.
"This phenomenon is not unique to PGI but is impacting our entire industry," said PGI ceo Veronica Hagen.
