Polymer Group names Crawford gm North America

Charlotte, N.C. -- Polymer Group has named Gregory Crawford vp, general manager of North America.

Crawford joins the company from Nufarm Limited, an Australian manufacturer and marketer of crop protection chemicals, where he was president of the Americas region, responsible for business units in seven countries.

Previously, he was manufacturing manager at Merck Pharmaceuticals.

Reporting to PGI coo Mike Hale, Crawford is responsible for growing the company's U.S. business through new product development, capacity expansion, and continuing the company's commitment to operational excellence.
