Couristan revises ranks to match expansion

FORT LEE , N.J. — As part of its efforts to expand its sales force nationwide, Couristan recently promoted two executives and hired a 12-year industry player.
Steve Codella has been promoted to vice president of sales for the Eastern region from Eastern regional sales manager, a post he held for the past four years since joining the company.
Geoffrey Siebold has been promoted to Midwest regional sales manager from his previous position as Midwest territory manager. He started with the company six years ago as territory manager for Couristan's residential division in Illinois and Wisconsin .
And Lori Kapusta was recently hired to fill Siebold's last sales position. For the past eight years, she has worked for Watson Smith, most recently selling high-end residential and commercial carpeting and area rugs to architects and designers. She also spent the past six years working as Watson Smith's area rug buyer.
In his new post, Codella continues to oversee both sales and dealer relations in the Eastern region as well as manage and develop key accounts at the national level. He is also responsible for product development in the residential broadloom and area rug divisions. He reports to Ron Couri, CEO and president; George Couri, chairman; and Bob Ball, executive vice president of the residential division.
Siebold, who reports to the same trio, is now responsible for overseeing sales and dealer relations headquartered in the Midwest .
Kapusta reports to both Siebold and Ball. She is responsible for sales growth in Central and Northern Illinois and Wisconsin .
