Cast Tapped to Head Walmart.com
Wal-Mart Stores has named Carter Cast president of Walmart.com, effective July 5. He will focus on expanding the site's merchandise assortment and product information, as well as developing services that integrate into Wal-Mart Stores.
Cast will succeed John Fleming, who was promoted in April to executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Wal-Mart. He will report to John Fleming.
Hanover Late With 10-K
Hanover Direct, Inc. has not completed its 2004 fiscal year-end financial statements and thus will not file its annual Form 10-K on time.
The company stated that it is working with KPMG LLP, its accounting firm, to complete the Sept. 25, 2004, quarterly and Dec. 25, 2004, annual financial statements.
Hanover stated the reports would be filed in “short order.”
