AT THE NEW YORK MARKET —
Mohawk Home announced last week several executive changes that include the conclusion of the company's search for a national sales manager as well as the return of Mohawk veteran Merle Johnson.
James Quist has been named vp, national sales manager. Quist, who will report to president Bill Kilbride, joins the company from the Dixie Group, where he was vp, sales and marketing and previously president of its Bretlin division.
Johnson returns to the position of vp, marketing after a six-month absence from the company. Her responsibilities will include licensing, brand management, media relations and new marketing initiatives with both Mohawk Home and in cooperation with Mohawk Industries. She will work out of the company's New York office and will also report to Kilbride.
In addition, Bill Storey has recently been promoted to general manager of Karastan Rug, a brand moved from Mohawk Industries to the Mohawk Home division.
Jeff Jacobs, who held the position of vp, marketing, will move to vp, merchandising for the department and specialty stores.
We would love your feedback!
