HSN promotes Marty Nealon
ST. PETERSBURG — Marty Nealon has been promoted to president, U.S., of the television and Internet retailer HSN (Home Shopping Network) from her position of executive vice president of merchandising, which she held since fall 2002.
Reporting to Thomas McInerney, CEO, HSN and electronic retailing, Nealon will oversee all aspects of HSN's U.S. business, including merchandising, hsn.com, television, marketing, finance, sales and service and operations.
She replaces Bob Rosenblatt, who has served as president for the past three years, and who will explore new interactive retailing opportunities within parent company IAC/InterActiveCorp.
"During the short time she has been with us, Marty has consistently demonstrated her remarkable talents as a strategic and well-rounded executive, but more importantly, as the visionary behind what ultimately drives this business — our products," said McInerney. "We're enthusiastic that Marty will now bring her tremendous leadership talents to bear on the entire U.S. business."
