High Country Linens Unveils Micro-Channel Quilting

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 11/7/2005 12:00:00 AM

New York — High Country Linens has developed a micro-channel quilting technique in various miniature scales that looks like pinstripes for coverlets, comforters, bedspreads and blankets.

The company recently purchased looms to produce the look. Two of its nine beds at the recently held New York Home Textiles Market featured the new technique: Grand Hotel, a tailored resort look with large color blocks in soft greens and baratto-stitch sheeting; and Raphael, a plice look with a hint of sparkle in a paisley motif.

According to executives, High Country will continue to focus on this new quilting technique as one of its signature bedding looks at the next market.
