United Feather & Down acquires DC

Des Plaines, IL — After leasing a building to handle its distribution operations for several years, United Feather & Down has bought its own distribution facility.

According to Brandon Palmer, executive vp for the down bedding manufacturer, based here, the building is larger than the previous facility. Both buildings are located in Elk Grove, IL.

"We're continuing to improve our capacities and to improve our facilities to service our customers better," Palmer told HTT. "With this acquisition, we will be able to process and handle orders at a faster, more efficient rate."
