Kassatex adds designer, Asian office

NEW YORK – Kassatex has hired designer Cecilia Castillo to head its product development office as it looks to eventually broaden its offerings beyond bath towels and bath rugs.
The company also recently opened a 15-person office in Hong Kong to expand its Asian sourcing. Kassatex currently produces towels in Turkey through a joint venture, embroideries in Colombia at a company-owned factory; and rugs in India.
