Sew-Rite opens U.S. division

Woodbridge, Ontario -- Sew-Rite Manufacturing Co. a 41-year-old Canadian manufacturer and importer of fashion bedding, has established a U.S. division. The new business will be supported by the company showroom in New York at 11 East 26th Street and a warehouse in Buffalo, N.Y.

Gary Ball, president of Sew-Rite, has appointed Wayne Palach, former coo at Nostalgia Home Fashions, as vp of sales U.S.A. Reporting to Gary Ball, Palach will guide strategy, marketing, and category management for products Sew-Rite manufactures under its own label, and for its licensed and private label programs.

Bill Power, sales manager U.S.A. for Sew-Rite, has been joined by newly appointed sales agencies Dynamic Marketing, Sofia Gottfried, Colette Zonitch, Sandy Kaplan, Prime Marketing, Jean Murray, and Military Sales and Service to assist in developing the U.S. business.
