May names Gentilozzi as vp

ST. LOUIS -The May Department Stores Company has named Kathy Gentilozzi to the position of vp, corporate human resources, effective Jan. 15. Reporting to Brian Keck, senior vp, human resources, Gentilozzi replaces Mary Ann Wagner, who was named senior vp, human resources for May Merchandising Company.

Since 1999, Gentilozzi has been serving as vp for organizational development at May's Filene's department store division in Boston. She joined the company in 1984 as an area sales manager for May's former G. Fox department store division and held various positions there in store management and associate training. In 1993, she was appointed director of stores human resources and associate training at Filene's, and then promoted to divisional vp of stores human resources and associate training in 1995 and then vp of stores human resources and organizational development in 1998.
