Sears gives gmm Pizzella additional categories

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL —

Barbara Pizzella has added bed, bath, window coverings and mattresses to her current duties as vp, gmm for area rugs, home accents and housewares at Sears.

With her added responsibilities, she succeeds Mark Grand, who retired from the company in July.

Ty Nicosia, formerly dmm for mattresses, has been named to strategic conversion, a new position. A new dmm will be named soon to head area rugs, mattresses and home accents.

Mark Mettler remains dmm for bed and bath; Richard Recklaus is divisional merchandise manager for housewares.

In March, Pizzella was named vp, gmm for area rugs, home accents and housewares. Earlier she was senior director of strategic planning for softlines. She reports to Leslie Mann, senior vp.
